It is important to carry about our children's future. On the website of "Stiftung Kindergesundheit", an independant non-profit foundation where I am the chairman, you can inform yourself about current issues, recommendations, our current projects and programmes in paediatrics.
Stiftung Kindergesundheit
The non-profit foundation "Stiftung Kindergesundheit" (Child Health Foundation), seated at the Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital, University of Munich, aims at improving and promoting the physical and mental health, as well as the life chances of children on the basis of scientific evidence.
It is
"Prevention is better than cure!".
The operative implementation of the Foundation's work is based on a three-pillar model:
* promotion of research on prevention to support child health
* information of the public on related established evidence
* implementation and application of knowledge in programmes and policy
